Welcome to NCGPC’s Planned Giving Day 2023 conference! Whether you’re an experienced professional or new to gift planning, you’ll have the opportunity to keep up to date with industry trends and changes, continue developing mastery of fundamentals, and improve your institution’s fundraising in this competitive market. Join peers from across the region for a full-day gathering of learning and networking in the nation’s capital. From the opening Keynote on Democratizing Philanthropy from Hali Lee with Dien Yuen through the Fundamentals, Marketing, and Technical afternoon sessions, you will leave Planned Giving Day 2023 armed with the latest gift planning strategies and tactics fueled by renewed inspiration and new connections.

We are pleased to extend our member rates to our colleagues who are members of other CGP councils, as well as AFP, AHP, and AIP members.

Note:

If you're a Sponsor, Speaker, DSA 2023 honoree, PG Day 2023 Chair, PG Day 2023 Track Dean, Scholarship recipient, or last year’s winner of a complimentary PG Day 2023 registration, please DO NOT use the general attendee registration. You will be provided a code for your registration. Sponsors will be able to register guest(s) and pay for their registration. 

Cancellation, Refund and Transfer Policies

Cancellations and Refund

All conference registration cancellations must be made in writing to ncgpc@ascent-management.com by May 2, 2023. A full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received no later than May 2, 2023. No refunds will be granted for requests after May 2, 2023.

Transfers

If you registered and can no longer attend but would like to transfer your registration to a colleague, there is a $50 transfer fee. Please contact ncgpc@ascent-management.com with the following information of the person who will be taking your place, as well as your full name and email address:

Onsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any outstanding balances) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.

Attendee Release of Liability

In attending Planned Giving Day, you expressly assume, and release NCGPC, its parent organization CGP, and the Eaton DC hotel in Washington, DC, from all risks, claims, damages, losses, costs and expenses, whether or not reasonably foreseen, associated with, resulting from or arising in connection with your participation or presence at the conference, including, without limitation, all risks of harm, damage, illness (including viruses or illness from any communicable disease) or injury (including death) to or related to your person or property.

Emergency Cancellation Policies

Planned Giving Day 2023 may be cancelled should the federal government and of the District of Columbia government be shut down because of weather, emergencies or other activity on that same day, May 23, 2023. Absent such a shutdown, the NCGPC Board of Directors will determine whether to cancel the event where there is any concern because of any emergencies.
